Were the Demoman and Soldier really friends?
With the new WAR style Demoman/Soldier update just days away, the activity in Team Fortress 2 has been amazing with a real spike wedged between players; names are popping up all over the place showing stern belief in their classes superiority. But even more amazing than that is the fact I’m starting to favour the Soldier and really despise the Demoman. How does Valve do this?
Soldier FTW!
You can say what you want about Valve but they sure know how to get players at each others throats; almost 9 million animations of exploding people have already taken place to obtain an item that might not actually be any good! This remember, is only 3 days into the update (so best keep a close eye on those tally’s).
I guess it’s a personality thing on what class you ultimately want to win, but what I do know is that I can’t wait for the update and I’m very much looking forward to the new items and crafting system (even if it is a bit MMORPG sounding), plus all the other new surprises on the way – see you on the Battlefield MAGGOTS!
