Watch the Halo Legends 1st Episode.
Halo Legends first episode, The Babysitter, went live on Halo Waypoint this week. For some reason however it was only up for 24 hours but that has not stopped it from appearing on You Tube and we have embedded both parts below. Best watch it while you still can and don’t forget to let us know what you think.

Halo Waypoint. A compact app for Xbox 360 offering progress tracking, bonus content and unlockable rewards for every game in the Halo franchise on the platform. (I purchased Halo Wars for the Halo 3 multiplayer Mythic maps, and if I ever play that RTS it will be because of Waypoint.) It’s simple, but a work of inspired genius. Where Bungie leads, other game studios must aspire to follow.
Incidentally, I tried Modern Warfare 2 last night, both the action-packed campaign and the addictive multiplayer. The last two games in the Call of Duty series are surely among the best in the FPS genre, particularly CoD 4. But Modern Warfare 2 is the best CoD yet.
The next big thing event in my gaming diary is Reach.
As a Halo fan zone and as a marketing tool, Halo Waypoint certainly delivers but I’m not convinced it’s a work of genius even though for consoles it is a first.
Halo as a franchise will always be massive but lets hope Reach delivers; ODST arguably did not and Halo needs now to try and escape its reputation of ‘My First FPS’ and the second home of America’s 14 year olds.
Halo’s inspired universe is for me the only thing keeping Halo above a lot of console shooters but whilst the multiplayer is finely tuned it needs now to evolve.
COD4 review will be on soon; still very unimpressed with the Airport level – it could and should have been so much better rather than a poorly designed and thought out level designed for shocks.
