European Bayonetta Special Edition Unveiled.

SEGA Europe have today unveiled their Special Edition version of Bayonetta for Europe.

It will come presented in a special slipcase which includes a copy of the game, art book and soundtrack cd from the game. A rather nice package all in all although no word yet on what the price premium will be.

I am slightly disappointed that there’s no figurine as I think Bayonetta is a brilliantly unique example of game character design; but the contents are still loads better than the Uncharted 2 Special Edition which had 2 lousy art cards and a couple of (digital) golden guns.  That said if the actual game is anywhere near as good as Uncharted 2 I doubt anyone will really care too much.

The game launches on the 8th of January and the Special Edition pictured here will be available to gamers in the UK, France, Spain and Australia.

I really don’t know why this game fails to excite me. I don’t like the main protagonist of the game at all and the name exudes cheesiness.
